Locate position accuracy is dependent on a variety of criteria such as cell phone reception, GPS settings and more.
Results may vary from 10 meters up to several thousand of meters. At Mobile Phone Locate, we use both GPS and cell network data to ensure you get the best possible location data,
every time. Each time a successful locate is performed, you will see an accuracy radius indicating the area where the phone is located.
Do I need to install an app or software on my phone?
No software or application installation is required.
Our service is permission based. You may locate any phone on networks which we support, and only after you have subscribed/opted-in to our service. You must ensure you have the express consent of all owners and any users of all cell phones you monitor, unless they are your minor child or you have been appointed a guardian, ward or other legal custodian of the individual being monitored, such as an elderly parent.
What Happens If I Don't Receive The Opt-In Text Message?
If the phone you were attempting to locate did not receive the opt-in text message, use this alternate method. From the map screen page, left click the Phone Name and select "Phone Verify". We will call the
phone you are adding to our system and you will be instructed to enter a 4 digit code into the box on the phone verify page.
Can I stop the location services at anytime?
Yes. You can opt-out at anytime, once you have opted out, an SMS is sent to the handset notifying you that the location services have stopped.
How do I remove a phone from my active list?
Removing a phone from your account is easy. Simply login to Mobile Locate and select the phone you want to remove. Select “Remove Phone” from the menu options. Mobile Phone Locate will confirm removal of your
phone. Choose “Ok” and you’re done. The phone’s user will immediately receive a final opt-out SMS text message as confirmation.

Yes. We are required to send a periodic reminder message to the phone every 90 days, which lets the handset owner know our service is on their phone. This messages states, "Reminder: you're sharing your phone's location w/LVGPS Mobile Locate.
Reply STOP to end, HELP for info. Msg & Data rates apply."
Whre Does Mobile Locate Service Work?
Currently ONLY in the United States and Canada.
Can Mobile Locate find a lost or stolen phone?
Possibly, if the phone was registered with our service prior to it becoming lost/stolen. However, our service was never designed for this specific application, it's a family locate service.
Please don't contact us asking to find your lost/stolen phone! Our system is permission based, meaning in order to locate your phone it must already have been opted into our system.

We’re working hard to expand our network of carriers. At this time, we work with ATT, Cricket Wireless, Boost Mobile, Trac Phones, Sprint PCS, TMobile,

Your location information is private and we keep it that way.

register is required to opt-in to Mobile Locate. Once permission is given, users will receive an SMS text welcome indicating they’ve signed up for locate services.
Users will also receive periodic reminders to verify opt-in status.
Will your service drain my phone's battery?
No, since there is no application running on your mobile device, battery life is not impacted.
